I’m on a sober comedy show tomorrow night! It’s called Dry Humour and it’s sponsored by St. John’s Pride as part of its annual Pride festival! I really appreciate working with them again and I’m excited for the show.

One problem. Same problem as always.
I don’t know what I should I do!!!
I want to talk about being press-ganged onto the girls’ basketball team when I was 12. And how my cat wants me to do drugs. And ask some of these sober people why they are sober. Like, were they born into it or were they threatened with a life sentence? I know that’
And… it peters out there. Crowd work? A character sketch? Some songs? I want to do something fresh and fun and exciting for this uninebriated Sunday night audience.
I have prepared material, of clurse, but b’ys, it’s old. I don’t want to serve stale food. These are sober people, they’ve already suffered enough.
I guess the only thing to do is write. Figure out it. And bring it tomorrow.
Anyway, come down tomorrow if you wants ti see some funny peoole but bars scare you. Tickets are free but you book them HERE! Sunday, July 12 at 8 at the ol’ Benevolent Irish Society. See you then!
