It’s Nickel Independent Film Festival Season! Is it still happening June 22–28, 2026?

A few years ago at the Festival, I saw Jenna Marks’ “How You Turned Into a Fish.” She’s an Atlantic Canadian animator – Nova Scotia – and I really enjoy her work. I found the above ad for her short while tossing out old papers. It reminded me of that film, as well as the one I saw last year at the Nickel, the stop motion one I made the comic about. It’s fun stuff!
