Today is March 22, 2026.

I am closing old drafts of blogs and found this. It intrigued me. It was almost emtirely empty, except for the above.

That was a Thursday night. Why was I up so late?

I started this post in October but I never finished

Let’s figure out where I was on October 16, 2025 and see if we can figure out why I started this but never finished.

Location: St. John’s, NL. My house, probably.

What am I doing? Making a blog post about productivity and tracking. Why?

“Trying to be better.” Helpful to have data to track efforts. Thus, this log!

Oh boy!

How I Got Here

Promising myself I would finish projects. Close or delete drafts. This draft has been open for months. Why didn’t I finish it?

Where was I October 16, 2025? Why did I want to start here? Was I reading something? Inspired? Afraid?

Whatever it was, I think I probably stopped for fear, and laziness. As in, I feared people would see my laziness. Low effort, low value.

But this has some effort now, so I feel better posting it.

It was helpful to have a template to start from, at least.

It’s March 22, 2026. Since October 16, 2025, I have finished +5 videos, including an essay. Cleared out a lot of old files, finishing projects and getting work done(r). A good effort to be proud of.
