Friday, August 22. I went to a play last night – a comedy show – a comedy play. I like those; I’ve made one myself.
This show was “Shaye Murray’s: Meaning to Tell You.” It was a showcase; it highlighted local comedians and gave them an outlet to play in.
It was a show; Shaye crafted a narrative about exploration, discovery, healthcare, and walking the tightrope of intersectionalities and also being funny.
I was super proud of everyone’s work. I didn’t have anything to do with it, but proud nonetheless. It was a great night with a lovely audience.
I’m excited for new shows, new voices, new challenges, and laughs.
